HBO's GAME OF THRONES
- Ian McShane (Deadwood, Ray Donovan) has joined the cast of the hit drama's upcoming sixth season. No details were immediately made available about the character he will be playing - though he will be a character of key importance.
PBS' DOWNTON ABBEY
- The network announced today that the sixth and final season of the Emmy-winning drama will begin airing stateside on Sunday, January 3.
PBS' MERCY STREET
- The network also revealed that its original drama production Mercy Street will make its series debut on Sunday, January 17. The cast for the 6-episode period drama includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Josh Radnor, Gary Cole, Peter Gerety, Norbert Leo Butz, McKinley Belcher III, Shalita Grant, Hannah James, Jack Falahee, AnnaSophia Robb, Cameron Monaghan, Donna Murphy, Tara Summers, L. Scott Caldwell, Suzanne Bertish, Wade Williams, Luke Macfarlane, Brad Koed and Cherry Jones.
