Casting News - August 7, 2015

ABC's Modern Family; CBS' The Good Wife; and NBC's Coach.

NBC's COACH
  • Pam Stone will reprise her role as Judy Watkins-Dybinski on the upcoming revival series of the 1990s sitcom. On the new series, she is now married to Dauber (Bill Fagerbakke) with a 4-year-old daughter named Addison, who is a natural-born athlete.
ABC's MODERN FAMILY
  • Jeremy Maguire has been tapped to replace Pierce Wallace in the role of Fulgencio "Joe" Pritchett on the comedy's upcoming seventh season. The recast occurred because the creative team have just slightly aged up the character and he's now in a newly rough and tumble mode of life.
CBS' THE GOOD WIFE
  • Peter Gallagher (Covert Affairs, Law & Order: SVU) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming seventh season. He will play Irving Carver, the witty, sophisticated attorney of conservative billionaire Reese Dipple (guest star Oliver Platt), who's been dispatched to Lockhart/Agos/Lee. He prefers civilized, intelligent debates over mindless bullying, but will use whatever it takes to assure that the firm is working to further his client's agenda.
