- Jim Belushi (According to Jim, Show Me a Hero) will co-star on the drama pilot starring Alfonso Herrera. He will play Marshall, a spirited long haul truck driver-turned-honky tonk bar owner. In town, Marshall is as mush of a Houston institution as is his bar.
AMAZON's THE TRIAL
- Maria Bello (Prime Suspect) and Tania Raymonde (Lost) have joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Billy Bob Thornton. Bello will play Julie, Billy's (Thornton) ex-wife, a beautiful, brilliant and accomplished co-founding partner of a law firm who is successful professionally, but not personally after losing the love of her life. Although she would never admit how much that hurt, she holds Billy in contempt for letting his life fall apart. She is betrayed when the head of her firm (William Hurt) fires her protégé (Olivia Thirlby), who then goes to work for her ex-husband on the wrongful death case. Raymonde will play Brittany Gold, a likable, smart and savvy legal secretary who works for Billy in exchange for him defending her years ago. She is appalled at Billy's first attempt to write up his paperwork and welcomes Lucy's help to fix things.
