BBC AMERICA's ORPHAN BLACK
- Joel Thomas Hynes (Rookie Blue, Republic of Doyle) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming fourth season as a new series regular. He will play Dizzy, an edgy, self-reliant hacker who doesn't conform to group mentality. Additionally, Emmy-nominated writer Semi Chellas (Mad Men) has boarded the new season as a consultant.
ABC's BLACK-ISH
- Model/actress Amber Rose will appear in a November episode of the comedy's second season. She will play Dominique, a past love interest of Charlie's (Deon Cole) who comes back into the picture when Charlie gets stuck baby-sitting Dre's (Anthony Anderson) kids.
HULU's THE PATH
- Friday Night Lights alum Minka Kelly and Oscar nominee Kathleen Turner (Peggy Sue Got Married) have been cast on the upcoming drama series. Kelly will play Miranda Frank, the beautiful cult member Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) suspects Eddie (Aaron Paul) of having an affair with. Turner will play Brenda Roberts, the estranged mother of cult leader Cal Roberts (Hugh Dancy).
ABC's NASHVILLE
- Scout Taylor-Compton (Gilmore Girls) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Erin, a 20-something, east Nashville hipster and sound engineer with a bit of ink and no desire to commit to anything because her "free spirit" dictates how she lives her life.
