BBC AMERICA's UNDERCOVER
- Dennis Haysbert (24, The Unit) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series starring Sophie Okonedo. He will play a man who has been on death row for 20 years, falsely imprisoned for murder. Maya (Okonedo) can only watch as her dearest friend and client refuses to go quietly, urging her to fight the deep-grained injustices that have tainted two decades of his life.
AMC's THE WALKING DEAD
- Tovah Feldshuh, Alexandra Breckenridge and Austin Nichols have been promoted to series regulars for the drama's upcoming sixth season. They play Alexandria residents Deanna Monroe, Jessie Anderson and Spencer Monroe respectively.
OWN's GREENLEAF
- Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne and Deborah Joy Winans have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Keith David and Lynn Whitfield. Rucker will play Jacob Greenleaf, the eldest, ne'er-do-well son of the Bishop (David), heir apparent to the Greenleaf empire. Hawthorne will play Kerissa Greenleaf, Jacob's ambitious, controlling wife. Winans will play Charity Greenleaf-Satterlee, the youngest daughter of the Bishop and also the church's angel-voiced Minister of Music.
FOX's EMPIRE
- Clarence Williams III (Mod Squad, The Butler) has booked a guest starring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Huey Jarvis, a legendary music mogul and mentor to Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard). Jarvis hosts a prestigious series of weekly "Living Room" shows, an appearance on which greatly boosts an artist's chances of winning music's top awards.
NETFLIX's LUKE CAGE
- Frank Whaley (Like Sunday, Like Rain) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama series starring Mike Colter. He will play Detective Scarfe, a hard-nosed detective with the New York Police Department.
