- CSI: NY alum Sela Ward has been tapped to play the role recently vacated by Susan Sarandon on the upcoming comedy starring Nick Nolte. She will play Margaret Graves, who begins to pursue her political aspirations when her husband (Nolte) decides to right the wrongs of his administration 20 years after leaving office.

- EastEnders star Adam Croasdell has been tapped to play Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) father on an upcoming episode of the drama's fifth season. No additional details were released about when and how his dad will be introduced.
