FOX's EMPIRE
- Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital, Person of Interest) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's second season. She will play Harper Scott, one of the best reporters in the business who has her sights on Empire Entertainment. She's tough, smart and not above using her seductive appearance to get answers.
FOX's NEW GIRL
- Peter Gallagher (The O.C., Covert Affairs) will appear in an upcoming episode of the comedy's fifth season. He will play Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) father.
THE CW's THE ORIGINALS
- Chasing Life alum Haley Ramm has booked a recurring role on the drama's third season. She will play Ariane, a powerful, ethereal witch from a coven that practices a dangerous type of dark magic. She is eerily smart, quietly confident and occasionally creepy.
CBS' SUPERGIRL
- Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the drama's first season. She will play Miranda Crane, a senator peddling her anti-alien beliefs to garner votes but has to rely on Supergirl's (Melissa Benoist) help when her visit to National City is interrupted by an alien attack.
BBC AMERICA's LUTHER
- The four series of the hit drama starring Idris Elba will air as a three-hour movie on Thursday, December 17 at 9/8c. Written by Neil ross and directed by Sam Miller, the movie finds Luther (Elba) pulled out of seclusion by a case involving a cannibalistic serial killer. The cast also includes Rose Leslie, Laura Haddock, Darren Boyd, John Heffernan, Patrick Malahide, Michael Smiley and Dermot Crowley.
NETFLIX's BLOODLINE
- Ken Jenkins (Scrubs) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season in a recurring role. He will play Roy Gilbert, a prominent businessman in the Florida Keys and old acquaintance of the Rayburn family who John (Kyle Chander) seeks out to get his support as he runs for Sheriff.
