CBS Switches Monday's 'Supergirl' & 'NCIS: Los Angeles' Episodes Due to Similarities to the Paris Attacks

CBS is making a major change to its Monday, November 16 lineup - switching out episodes of both Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles due to similarities to Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris. The change does not affect Scorpion's episode though.

The episodes of Supergirl ("How Does She Do It?") and NCIS: Los Angeles ("Defectors") original set to debut tomorrow will now likely debut the following week - on Monday, November 23.

CBS notes that the move was made "out of sensitivity and respect to the events that occurred." The Supergirl episode had Kara dealing with bombings throughout National City and the NCIS: Los Angeles episode dealt with ISIS recruiting young women.

Here are the official episode descriptions for the hours now airing on Monday, November 16:

Supergirl - "Livewire": Kara's Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Eliza Danvers (guest star Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee (guest star Brit Morgan) into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl.

NCIS: Los Angeles - "The Long Goodbye": The team searches for Jada (guest star Ella Thomas), the woman Sam led to asylum in the United States four years ago, after she goes missing. Also, Kensi goes undercover with DEA Agent Talia Del Campo (guest star Mercedes Mason).
