ABC FAMILY's FAMOUS IN LOVE
- Carter Jenkins (The Following), Jesse Henderson (Finding Carter), Keith Powers (Faking It) and Niki Koss (The Monroes) have been cast on the drama pilot starring Bella Thorne. Jenkins will play Rainer, an incredibly handsome, young movie star, the son of a famous Hollywood power couple, who takes an immediate interest in Paige (Thorne). Henderson will play Jake, a handsome, salt-of-the-earth college student and aspiring actor who is Paige's best friend. Powers will play Jordan, a sizling hot actor, a real heartthrob and Hollywood bad boy who is Rainer's ex-best friend, now his nemesis after moving in on his girlfriend. Koss will play Alexis, one of Rainer's old friends who is up for the same role as Paige.
ABC's DOWNWARD DOG
- Raising Hope star Lucas Neff has been tapped to play the male lead on the comedy pilot starring Allison Tolman. Barry Rothbart (The Half Hour) has also joined the cast today. Neff will play Jason, Nan's (Tolman) ex-boyfriend, who is something of a prototypical aging millennial man-child. A musician and bartender, Jason is trying to get back into Nan's life, and her dog's destructive behavior provides the perfect opportunity. Rothbart will play Kevin. No other details about Kevin were immediately released.
