FX & FXX Set Premiere Dates for 'American Crime Story,' 'Baskets,' 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' & 'Man Seeking Woman'

FX and FXX have set the premiere dates for new and returning series this winter, including the debuts of Baskets and American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson as well as the returns of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Man Seeking Woman. The announcement was made by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.

Baskets, a new comedy co-created by and starring Zach Galifianakis, debuts on FX on Thursday, January 21 at 10/9c. Chip Baskets (Galifianakis) wants to follow his dream of being a French clown - however, reality keeps interfering. Saddled with financial difficulties and facing an impenetrable language barrier, he moves back home to Bakersfield with high hopes. There, he is forced to confront his past while working as a rodeo clown and competing with his siblings for his mother's approval and affection.

Baskets was created by Jonathan Krisel, Louis C.K. and Zach Galifianakis. Additional executive producers are M. Blair Breard, Dave Becky, Marc Gurvitz and Andrea Pett-Joseph. FX Productions produces.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, the latest limited series from FX and Ryan Murphy, premieres on Tuesday, February 2 at 10/9c. Based on the book The Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin, the limited series is a look at the O.J. Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution overconfidence, defense shrewdness, and the LAPD's history with the city's African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.

Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Brad Falchuk serve as executive producers. The cast includes John Travolta, Cuba Gooding Jr., Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer, Courtney B. Vance, Sterling Brown, Nathan Lane, Kenneth Choi, Christian Clemenson and Bruce Greenwood. Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions produce.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the longest-running series in FX Networks' history, returns to FXX for Season 11 on Wednesday, January 6 at 10/9c. The new season will continue to be paired with new episodes of Man Seeking Woman - which will also return on January 6 at 10:30/9:30c. for its second season.

FX has also announced that the fourth season of the critically-acclaimed drama The Americans won't premiere until March 2016. A precise premiere date will be announced sometime in the future.
