Syfy has given out a third season renewal to its original drama series Z Nation, it was announced today. The order is for 15 episodes - the same as the second season's. The new season is set to debut in Fall 2016.
The drama takes place three years after a zombie virus has destroyed the country and the survivors do their best to stay alive. The second season is currently averaging 1.5 million total viewers in Live+7 numbers.
The cast for the second season includes Kellita Smith, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch, Keith Allan, Anastasia Baranova, Russell Hodgkinson, Pisay Pao, Nat Zang, Matt Cedeño and Emilio Rivera.
Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler created the drama, and executive produce with Paul Bales, David Michael Latt and David Rimawi. The Asylum, Go2 Digital Media and North By Northwest produce.
