Showtime has ordered additional seasons of its original drama series Homeland and The Affair. Emmy winner Homeland will return for its sixth season while Golden Globe winner The Affair will be back for its third season. Both series air their current season finales on December 20.
In Live+3 figures, Homeland is averaging 2.7 million total viewers with 1.05 million among the Adults 18-49 demographic for its fifth season. Meanwhile, The Affair is averaging 1.5 million total viewers with 600,000 in the key demo for its second season.
Homeland stars Claire Danes, Rupert Friend, Sebastian Koch, Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling, Sarah Sokolovic, F. Murray Abraham and Mandy Patinkin.
