BET has renewed its original scripted comedy Real Husbands of Hollywood for a fifth season, it was announced today. The news comes a few weeks after the comedy's return on January 5, which was seen by more than 1 million viewers in DVR playback.
The comedy stars Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Duane Martin, Nelly, Cynthia McWilliams and Dondré Whitfield.
Guest stars for the fourth season have included Boris Kodjoe, Wayne Brady, Jackie Long, Chris Brown, Nia Long, NeNe Leakes, Terry Crews, Paula Abdul and more playing exaggerated versions of themselves.
The reality television spoof was created by Hart and Chris Spencer. They executive produce with Dave Becky, Jesse Collins, Ralph Farquhar, Stan Lathan, Stephen Hill, Tim Gibbons and Carl Craig. 3 Arts Entertainment, HartBeat Productions and JSR Productions produce.
