NBC's TAKEN
- Gaius Charles (Friday Night Lights), Monique Gabriela Curnen (The Following) and James Landry Hebert (Two Step) have been cast on the upcoming drama starring Clive Standen. All three will play members of Bryan's (Standen) OPCON (Operational Control) team, an elite team of operatives who take care of America's national security emergencies on the ground. Charles will play John, a natural born leader who does not need to prove his mettle to anyone and is very charismatic in his stillness. Curnen will play Vlasik, an integral member of the team. Hebert will play Casey, who takes the team very seriously and is wound a bit tight. He is dealing with some PTSD by being very effective operationally.
VH1's SATAN'S SISTERS
- Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives) has been tapped to star in the upcoming drama based on the 2011 book by Star Jones. She will play Maxine, the show's creator and host, a formidable, powerful and decisive woman who fears she's being put out to pasture.
FOX's SHOTS FIRED
- Stephan James (Selma, Race) has been cast as the male lead on the upcoming limited series starring Sanaa Lathan. He will play Preston, the special prosecutor for the civil rights division of the Department of Justice. Focused on winning, his dogged pursuit has an emotional cost. He is a chameleon who can talk with reverends, kids on the street and charm Republican senators who crave power and approval.
CBS' ZOO
- Alyssa Diaz (The Vampire Diaries) and Josh Salatin (Show Me a Hero) have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season as new series regulars. Diaz will play Dariela, a member of a military unit who encounters a strange and troubling new development in the animal mutation. Salatin will play Logan, a mysterious stranger Jamie (Kristen Connolly) encounters who may be hiding a dangerous secret.
HULU's CHANCE
- Greta Lee (Wayward Pines) has landed a series regular role on the upcoming drama starring Hugh Laurie. She will play Lucy, Chance's (Laurie) assistant, a former studio artist and present psychology major.
ABC's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
- Sons of Anarchy alum LaMonica Garrett will co-star on the upcoming drama series starring Kiefer Sutherland. He will play Ritter, Tom's (Sutherland) Secret Service Agent charged with protecting the family in the wake of the unprecedented bombing.
