TNT's MAJOR CRIMES, MURDER IN THE FIRST and RIZZOLI & ISLES
  • The cable network has announced additional premiere dates for its upcoming summer lineup today. Rizzoli & Isles will begin its 13-episode seventh and final season on Monday, June 6 at 9/8c. Major Crimes will premiere its fifth season on Monday, June 13 at 10/9c. And lastly, Murder in the First will debut its third season on Sunday, June 19 at 10/9c.
USA's SHOOTER
  • Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Spartacus, Arrow) has been tapped to replace Emily Rios as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Ryan Phillippe. She will play FBI Agent Nadine Memphis, who has a strong intuition and dogged determination which has made her a rising star in the bureau. But her headstrong personality has also landed her in trouble in the past. As the arresting officer of a would-be-assassin, she may have set her career back on the fast track, but her gut tells her there's more to this case. Not realizing the depth of this conspiracy, she unwittingly puts both her investigation and her life in jeopardy.

  • Tony nominee Samuel Barnett (Twelfth Night, The History Boys) has been cast in the lead role opposite Elijah Wood on the upcoming drama series. Additionally, Dean Parisot has signed on to direct the first two episodes, while Robert Cooper will serve as showrunner for the first season. The series is a comedic thriller that follows the bizarre adventures of eccentric "holistic" detective Dirk Gently (Barnett) and his reluctant assistant Todd (Wood), as they wend their way through one big, seemingly insane mystery a season, crossing unlikely paths with a bevy of wild and sometimes dangerous characters, each episode landing them a few random steps closer to uncovering the truth.
