This afternoon CBS has handed out renewals for the 2016-17 season to 11 shows - once again locking in the majority of its schedule for next season.
Here are the series receiving renewals today:
- 2 Broke Girls (Season 6)
- Blue Bloods (Season 7)
- Elementary (Season 5)
- Hawaii Five-0 (Season 7)
- Madam Secretary (Season 3)
- Mom (Season 4)
- NCIS: Los Angeles (Season 8)
- NCIS: New Orleans (Season 3)
- Scorpion (Season 3)
- Survivor (Season 33)
- The Amazing Race (Season 29)
These orders for new seasons join the previously renewed NCIS and The Big Bang Theory on CBS' schedule for the 2016-17 season. Additionally, The Good Wife, Mike & Molly and Person of Interest are airing their final seasons and will wrap their runs in May and June 2016.
Veteran series missing from this list include Criminal Minds, CSI: Cyber and Undercover Boss. Also missing are all of the freshman series - including Supergirl, Limitless, Code Black, Life in Pieces and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
