ABC's STILL STAR-CROSSED
- Sterling Sulieman (Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries) has been cast on the drama pilot written by Heather Mitchell. He will play Prince Escalus, the sovereign of Verona who has recently returned after spending seven years in the court of Venice. Intelligent, wise and idealistic, he is forced to make some very difficult decisions to protect the city he loves.
FOX's LETHAL WEAPON
- Keesha Sharp (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) has been tapped to replace Golden Brooks on the drama pilot. Johnathan Fernandez (Good Medicine) has also joined the cast today. Sharp will play Trish, Roger's (Damon Wayans Sr.) hardworking, perceptive and loving wife who worries about him and is not thrilled when she hears about his new adrenaline-crazed partner (Clayne Crawford). Fernandez will play Scorsese, a dry-toned and creative pathologist with the LAPD.
ABC's THE FLUFFY SHOP
- Tommy Savas (State of Affairs) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Gabriel Iglesias. He will play Reggie, Gabe's (Iglesias) manager, who's not a slick Hollywood player but tries to carry himself like one. He grew up disadvantaged, didn't go to college but makes up for it with street hustle. Gabe met Reggie early in his career and sticks with him out of loyalty.
FOX's MAKING HISTORY
- Comedian-writer Yassir Lester (The Carmichael Show, Girls) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Adam Pally and Leighton Meester. He will play Chris, a 30-year-old history professor and the most popular teacher on campus. He has a gift of inspiring people by making his encyclopedic knowledge of history accessible. Women love him and guys want to be his buddy. But when he goes to the past, it quickly unravels.
THE CW's FREQUENCY
- Daniel Bonjour (The Walking Dead, Satisfaction) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot starring Peyton List and Riley Smith. He will play Daniel Badour, a handsome man with infectious charm, an up-and-coming architect who is deeply in love with Raimy (List) and is planning to propose. He's gravely concerned by Raimy's apparently insane claims that she's communicating with her dead father in the past.
ABC's TOAST
- Punam Patel (Kevin From Work) has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Jono Kenyon and Jerrika Hinton. She will play Arden, a charmingly spoiled life of the party who is first up to give a toast at the rehearsal dinner and definitely says more than she should.
