NBC's UNTITLED BLACKLIST SPINOFF
- NBC has just announced that the May 12 episode of The Blacklist's third season will serve as a backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff starring Famke Janssen (How to Get Away With Murder). Janssen will star as Susan "Scottie" Halsted and debut in the May 5 episode of The Blacklist. All other plot and character details are currently being kept under wraps. Ryan Eggold - who has been with the original series since the pilot - is finalizing a deal to transition to the new series. Edi Gathegi is also set to reprise his role as Matias Solomon, a Cabal operative sent to hunt down Red (James Spader), on the proposed spinoff. Michael Dinner (Justified) has signed on to direct. The Blacklist's Jon Bokenkamp, John Eisendrath, John Davis, John Fox and Michael Watkins will serve as executive producers. Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment.
