Discovery has given a series order to scripted drama Manifesto created by Andrew Sodroski and executive produced by Kevin Spacey. A premiere date window was not immediately announced.
Manifesto will focus on the FBI's efforts to bring down "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski and how Agent Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald took a radical new approach to intelligence gathering during his investigation into the case. Because of his training in linguistics, Fitz believed that the key to unlocking the true identity of the Unabomber would be found in the language of The Manifesto, a detailed account of some of Kaczynski's plots.
Sodroski is writing the first episode. He will also executive produce with Spacey, Dana Brunetti, Troy Searer and John Goldwyn. Trigger Street Productions will produce.
