FOX has picked up comedies The Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the 2016-17 season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. The renewals bring The Last Man on Earth through its third season and Brooklyn Nine-Nine through its fourth.

Each has its own unique voice, but they both boast terrific ensembles with stand-out characters and, of course, phenomenal writing, which are the hallmarks of all great comedies," said Madden. "We'd like to thank the executive producers, casts and crews of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Last Man on Earth for their tremendous work this season, and look forward to what's in store next year."
The Last Man on Earth stars Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, January Jones, Mel Rodriguez, Mary Steenburgen and Cleopatra Coleman, with special guest stars Boris Kodjoe and Jason Sudeikis. The series was created by Forte, who executive produces with Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Seth Cohen and Andy Bobrow. 20th Century Fox Television produces.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, Joel McKinnon Miller and Andre Braugher. The series was created by Dan Goor and Mike Schur. Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon produce.
