Netflix has given a series order to limited series Godless, which will reunite screenwriter Scott Frank and director Steven Soderbergh - who worked together on the 1998 feature film Out of Sight.
No details were immediately released about the project. No casting has been announced either. However, it's being described as a Western set in 1884.
Frank is writing and directing the series, which will start filming in Santa Fe, New Mexico later this year. Frank will executive produce with Soderbergh and Casey Silver.
Godless joins Soderbergh's growing slate of TV series, which includes Amazon's Red Oaks, Cinemax's The Knick and Starz's upcoming drama The Girlfriend Experience.
