STARZ's AMERICAN GODS
- Cloris Leachman, Peter Stormare, Chris Obi and Mousa Kraish have been cast on the upcoming drama starring Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane. Leachman will play Zorya Vechernyaya, the eldest of three sisters who watch over the constellations, guarding against horrors forgotten by modern man. Once accustomed to royal status, the sisters have learned to survive on far less in a world that has no memory of them. Stormare will play Czernobog, the Slavic god of darkness and evil. Obi will play Anubis, the Egyptian god of the dead. Kraish will play The Jinn, a mythical creature of the fire.
AMC's HUMANS
- Jessica Jones' Carrie-Anne Moss and Nashville's Sam Palladio have joined the drama's upcoming second season as new series regulars. Moss will play Dr. Athena Morrow, a pre-eminent Artificial Intelligence expert who is driven by her own motives to create a new kind of machine consciousness. Palladio will play Ed, a struggling café owner trying to breathe life into his family business.
TBS' ANGIE TRIBECA
- The 10-episode second season of the hit comedy starring Rashida Jones will premiere on Monday, June 6 at 9/8c. Unlike the first season, the new episodes will debut weekly. Guest stars for the new season include Alfred Molina, James Franco, Heather Graham, Mary McCormack, Noah Wyle, Maya Rudolph, Eriq La Salle, Danny Pudi, Busy Philipps, Kevin Pollak, Rhys Darby, Ed Begley Jr., Joe Jonas and Joey McIntyre.
