- Nia Long (Uncle Buck) and Brian Baumgartner (The Office) have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Long will play Isadora "Izzy" Williams, a tough but charming journalist who has a history with Bobo (Andre Royo). Baumgartner will play Dr. Olonari, a successful and eccentric brain specialist in San Francisco.

- Nicki Micheaux (Lincoln Heights) and Dorian Missick (Southland) have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama series. Micheaux will play Sandra Yates, a sharp, focused detective who will stop at nothing to prove that she's right about the Cody family. Missick will play Patrick, a tough cop with a sweet spot for Catherine (Daniella Alonso).
