BET's THE YARD
- Tony winner Anika Noni Rose (The Good Wife, Roots) will play the lead role on the newly announced 2-hour drama pilot The Yard written by Felicia Henderson and Rob Hardy, who will also direct. The project centers on Eva (Rose), the newly elected President of the fictional college, Georgia A&M. Upon her arrival, she finds a bold, brazen and diverse freshman class that promises to keep her hands full. The cast will also include Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Sean Blakemore, Jasmine Guy, Jazz Raycole and Peyton Alex Smith.
AMAZON's I LOVE DICK
- Kevin Bacon (The Following) is in final negotiations to star in the comedy pilot written by Sarah Gubbins. He will play Dick, a sexy silver fox and cowboy intellectual professor with whom Chris (Kathryn Hahn) and Sylvere share a mutual obsession.
