FREEFORM's ISSUES
- The cable network has given a pilot order to drama Issues inspired by the life of Joanna Coles, the editor of "Cosmopolitan" magazine. Sarah Watson (Parenthood) will write the pilot, and executive produce with Coles, David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer. Holly Whidden is a co-executive producer. Universal Television and The District will produce. The project gives a glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for a global women's magazine. Their struggles are about finding your identity, managing friendships and getting your heart broken, all while wearing the perfect jeans to flatter any body type.
ABC's STILL STAR-CROSSED
- Defiance alum Grant Bowler has been cast on the drama pilot written by Heather Mitchell. He will play Lord Montague, a hot, scary, rugged, ruthless and brilliant man hellbent on raising his family's fortunes - no matter the cost.
