A&E Cancels 'Damien' After One Season

A&E has cancelled its original drama series Damien after one season, it was announced today. Series creator Glen Mazzara broke the news on Twitter.







Mazzara wrote: "This hurts to say but #Damien will not be getting a second season. Thank you from all of us to our amazing fans."

The drama starred Bradley James, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Omid Abtahi, David Meunier and Barbara Hershey.

Mazzara served as executive produce with Ross Fineman and Pancho Mansfield. Fox 21 Television Studios, Fineman Entertainment and 44 Strong Productions produced.

The series wrapped its 10-episode run on May 9, 2016.
