AMAZON's GOLIATH
- Dwight Yoakam (Slingblade) and Harold Perrineau (Lost) have been cast on the upcoming drama series (formerly titled Trial) starring Billy Bob Thornton. Yoakam will play Wendell Corey, the head of a giant aerospace company being defend by a powerful law firm who Billy McBride (Thornton) takes on in court. Perrineau will play Judge Roston Keller.
THE CW's MADTV
- Carlie Craig, Chelsea Davison, Jeremy D. Howard, Amir K, Lyric Lewis, Piotr Michael, Michelle Ortiz and Adam Ray are the new cast members set for the upcoming revival of the sketch comedy series. Additionally, the broadcast network has announced that the revival will debut on Tuesday, July 26 at 9/8c.
NBC's SHADES OF BLUE
- Emmy winner Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) has booked a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play a city councilwoman on the rise and primed for a run at the Mayor's office. She's the former protégé of Wozniak (Ray Liotta) and used to be a part of Harlee's (Jennifer Lopez) dirty crew of cops. She is a chameleon who rose up the ranks of the NYPD to captain before launching a political career fueled by her charisma and the fact that she is as comfortable at a blue-collar bar as she is at the governor's mansion. As the season progresses, the details of her meteoric rise and her much darker and Machiavellian side eventually surface.
NETFLIX's GIRLBOSS
- Alphonso McAuley (The Middle) has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Britt Robertson. He will play Dax, a handsome and upbeat bartender who is dating Sophia's (Robertson) best friend, Annie.
SYFY's BLOOD DRIVE
- Christina Ochoa (Animal Kingdom, Matador) is set as the female lead opposite Alan Ritchson on the upcoming drama. She will play Grace, who volunteered to participate in the deadly Blood Drive, an underground death race in which the cars run on human blood, because she needs the winnings to help her beloved sister. She is willing to face death on a daily basis for the mere chance of victory. When she's forced to partner with former police officer Arthur (Ritchson), she's not thrilled. She may soon learn that this genuinely moral and nice guy is a determined survivor, just like she is and that she may have more in common with him than she had ever imagined.
STARZ's AMERICAN GODS
- Orlando Jones (Sleepy Hollow) and Demore Barnes (12 Monkeys) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama series starring Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane. Jones will play Mr. Nancy, one of the gods Shadow (Whittle) meets during his visit to the House on the Rock - the American landmark where the gods assemble. He is the human form of the West African trickster god Anansi, who is classically depicted as a spider and has a penchant for telling stories. Barnes will play Mr. Ibis, the keeper of stories, past and present, and he recounts them with great relish. He runs a funeral parlor, is fascinated with death, and briefly takes Shadow under his wing.
THE CW's ARROW
- Rick Gonzalez (Reaper, Mr. Robot) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He will play Wild Dog, a cocksure ex-Marine turned vigilante. His reckless nature prompts the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) to take him under his wing.
THE CW's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
- Nick Zano (Minority Report, One Big Happy) has joined the drama's upcoming second season as a new series regular. He will play Dr. Nate Heywood, a historian whose grandfather was Commander Steel, a member of the Justice Society of America.
