- After appearing in the second season finale, actor-rapper Xzibit has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming third season. He plays Shyne Johnson, Lucious' (Terrence Howard) new adversary who deals drugs and makes music. His presence essentially ruined Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) and Laura's (Jamila Velazquez) wedding.
