SHOWTIME's WHITE FAMOUS
- The premium cable network has given a pilot order to half-hour comedy White Famous written by Californication creator Tom Kapinos and executive produced by Jamie Foxx. Lionsgate Television will co-produce with Showtime. The project centers on a talented, young African-American comedian whose star is rising, forcing him to navigate the treacherous waters of maintaining his credibility as he begins to cross-over towards becoming "white famous." Foxx will also appear in a recurring role on the potential series.
