FX's FARGO
  • The Leftovers star Carrie Coon has been tapped to play the female lead opposite Ewan McGregor on the drama's upcoming third season. She will play Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who grabs the fire extinguisher when the bacon catches fire and everyone else panics. She is the chief of the Eden Valley police, and a newly divorced mother, who is struggling to understand this new world around her where people connect more intimately with their phones than the people right in front of them.
CBS' NCIS
  • Four years after her tumultuous exit on Blue Bloods, Jennifer Esposito is returning to CBS as a new series regular on the veteran drama's upcoming fourteenth season. She will play Alexandra "Alex" Quinn, an experienced agent who left field work and became an instructor at the Law Enforcement Training Center. Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will lure her back into the field as part of his tam, where he will take advantage of her sharp wit, quick mind and immense talent as a federal agent. Additionally, Duane Henry has been promoted to series regular after appearing in the final two episodes of Season 13. He plays MI6 officer Clayton Reeves.
CBS' BLUE BLOODS
  • Lori Loughlin (Full House) and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) will appear in the Season 7 premiere of the hit drama. Loughlin will play Grace, the widow of a slain police officer who begs Frank (Tom Selleck) to stop her son from becoming a cop. Imperioli will play Miller, a hard-charging lawyer in the attorney general's office who spearheads an investigation into Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and the shooting death of serial killer Thomas Wilder.
IFC's MARON
  • The hit comedy starring Marc Maron has been canceled after four seasons, it was announced today on IFC's official Twitter page. The series finale airs this Wednesday, July 13 at 9/8c.
USA's SHOOTER
  • The cable network has decided to delay the premiere of the new drama starring Ryan Phillippe due to the recent tragedy in Dallas. "In light of recent tragic events and out of respect for the victims, their families and our viewers, we have decided to postpone the premiere date for the upcoming USA Network series Shooter to July 26," a network spokesperson said Monday in a statement.
