FREEFORM's ALONE TOGETHER
- The cable network has ordered a pilot for single camera comedy Alone Together written by and starring Esther Povitsky and Benji Afalo. Eben Russell will also write. All three will executive produce with The Lonely Island's Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. The project centers on two overlooked millennial misfits (Povitsky and Afalo) from different backgrounds as they try to make their way into the vain and status-obsessed culture of Los Angeles only to find salvation in their male/female strictly platonic friendship.
