CBS' MADAM SECRETARY
- Executive producer Morgan Freeman will reprise his role as Chief Justice Wilbourne in the third season premiere of the hit drama starring Teá Leoni. He previously appeared in the role a year ago in the second season premiere. The first episode back will also feature CBS News' Jane Pauley as herself interviewing Secretary McCord (Leoni).
SHOWTIME's I'M DYING UP HERE
- Jeffrey Nordling (Desperate Housewives) and Obba Babatundé (The Bold and the Beautiful) have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming hourlong comedy. Nordling will play Eli Goldman, a member of Goldie's (Melissa Leo) inner circle. Babatundé will play Barton Royce, a comedy manager.
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Jason O'Mara (Terra Nova, Life on Mars) has booked a major role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. He will play the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. The drama further teases that he is playing a character "whose Marvel roots go back to the 1940s."
CBS' MAN WITH A PLAN
- Liza Snyder (Yes, Dear) has been tapped to replace Jenna Fischer as the female lead on the upcoming comedy starring Matt LeBlanc. She will play Andi, Adam's (LeBlanc) self-assured wife who returns to the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, while Adam agrees to take on more parenting responsibilities.
NETFLIX's DISJOINTED
- Jessica Lu (Awkward, Saving the Human Race) has booked a series regular role on the upcoming comedy starring Kathy Bates. She will play one of the three budtenders at Ruth's (Bates) dispensary. She's a big-hearted, type A over-achiever trying to medicate herself back to normal.
NBC's CHICAGO FIRE
- Scott Elrod (Grey's Anatomy, The Young and the Restless) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He will play Travis Brenner, a drop dead gorgeous "lifestyle" celebrity with a million Instagram followers. Severide (Taylor Kinney) enters Travis' orbit on a fire call and becomes tempted to join his fast-paced inner circle.
