ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. & Time After Time; FOX's Bones; FX's Feud; Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale; NBC's Powerless; Netflix's Alias Grace; and Showtime's Homeland.




HULU's THE HANDMAID'S TALE
  • Madeline Brewer (Hemlock Grove, Orange Is the New Black) has been cast on the upcoming drama starring Elisabeth Moss. She will play Janine, a ballsy fellow handmaid who Offred (Moss) meets in the Red Center who, after a tortuous punishment, begins losing her grasp on reality.
NETFLIX's ALIAS GRACE
  • True Blood alum Anna Paquin has landed a lead role on the upcoming miniseries starring Sarah Gadon and Zachary Levi. She will play Nancy Montgomery, Thomas Kinnear's housekeeper and lover. While she initially befriends Grace (Gadon), she begins to resent her and becomes increasingly jealous of Kinnear's affection for her. Nancy eventually fires Grace in a fit of rage and is later found brutally murdered.
ABC's TIME AFTER TIME
  • Nashville alum Will Chase is staying at ABC with a series regular role on the midseason drama starring Freddie Stroma. He will play Griffin, Vanessa Anders' (Nicole Ari Parker) boyfriend and one half of Manhattan's most talked about power couple. But when the mysterious H.G. Wells (Stroma) suddenly becomes a major distraction in Vanessa's life, Griffin finds his relationship with he strained and his patience tested.
SHOWTIME's HOMELAND
  • Robert Knepper (Prison Break, Twin Peaks) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming sixth season. He will play General Jamie McClendon, the Department of Defense representative briefing President-elect Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) and her transition team.
FOX's BONES
  • Emmy winners Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Hal Holbrook (Pueblo) will appear in the third episode of the drama's upcoming twelfth and final season. Asner will play Mike Mancuso, a seemingly kind man who turns out to be quite the slippery, deceptive and duplicitous wise guy. Holbrook will play Red Fletcher, a Marine Corp veteran who possesses a strong and silent demeanor.
NBC's POWERLESS
  • Series creator Ben Queen has exited the upcoming comedy series as showrunner and executive producer ahead of production. The exit is said to be mutual between Queen, NBC and production company Warner Bros. Television over creative differences. Production was slated to start on the midseason comedy in two weeks but is now being delayed until a new showrunner is named.
FX's FEUD
  • Oscar and Tony winner Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago, A Little Night Music) has joined the cast of the upcoming anthology series starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon. She will play Oscar winning actress Olivia de Havilland. Her casting was announced today by series creator Ryan Murphy on Twitter.
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Mallory Jansen (Galavant, Young & Hungry) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. She will play the robot Aida.
