ABC's HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER
- Esai Morales (NYPD Blue) and Amy Madigan (Grey's Anatomy) have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. No details were immediately released about the characters they will be playing or how many episodes they'll appear in.
ABC's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
- Ashley Zukerman (Manhattan, Childhood's End) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Kiefer Sutherland. He will play Congressman Peter MacLeish, a popular third-term legislator from Oregon and one of the nation's youngest congressman. He is also a decorated veteran who emerges as a national hero after the Capitol attack. But we soon discover that he is harboring a dark secret and may not be who he seems.
WGN AMERICA's OUTSIDERS
- Amanda Brooks (Aquarius, Mistresses) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Dana Miller, an unmarried, big city girl who returns home to help her ailing father.
HULU's THE MINDY PROJECT
- Bryan Greenberg (How to Make It in America) and Rebecca Rittenhouse (Blood & Oil) will appear in recurring roles on the comedy's upcoming fifth season. Greenberg will play Ben, a new pediatric nurse forced to deal with Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and her son's ever changing illnesses. Rittenhouse will play Anna, a young, put-together but slightly evil doctor in the office who becomes a new foil for Mindy.
FOX's BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
- Ken Marino (Childrens Hospital) has joined the comedy's upcoming fourth season in a recurring role. He will play C.J., the new captain of the Nine-Nine precinct who steps in while Holt (Andre Braugher) and Jake (Andy Samberg) are in Witness Protection. He lucked into this promotion and isn't big on discipline. Amy (Melissa Fumero) isn't thrilled with his leadership style, but the rest of the precinct enjoys having a boss who caves to their wishes.
ABC's SCANDAL
- Jessalyn Gilsig (Glee, Vikings) has been tapped to replace Joelle Carter in the recurring role of Vanessa, Jake's (Scott Foley) wife, on the drama's upcoming sixth season. Carter originated the role during the second half of the fifth season and appeared in multiple episodes. The recast has happened due to Carter's new series regular role on NBC's midseason drama Chicago Justice. The scheduling conflicts for the two productions has led to Gilsig being cast in the role for the new season.
BRAVO's GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO DIVORCE
- In April, the cable network ordered three additional seasons for the hourlong drama created by Marti Noxon and starring Lisa Edelstein - bringing the series to its fifth season. Now, it has been announced that the fifth season will be its last. More importantly, the series will film its final 19 episodes all at once over the course of the next few months in Vancouver. Bravo will air them as three distinct seasons with shortened breaks in between. Season 3 will include seven episodes while Seasons 4 and 5 will be six each.
SHOWTIME's MASTERS OF SEX
- The drama's upcoming fourth season is staging a Getting On reunion. Corey Reynolds has joined the new season in a recurring role as the husband to Louise - played by fellow new addition Niecy Nash.
NETFLIX's DISJOINTED
- Tone Bell (Truth Be Told, Bad Judge) has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming comedy starring Kathy Bates. He will play Carter, the new security guard at Ruth's (Bates) dispensary, a military veteran who served in Afghanistan.
WGN AMERICA's SALEM
- The 10-episode third season of the hit drama starring Janet Montgomery and Shane West will premiere on Wednesday, November 2 at 10/9c.
CBS' LIFE IN PIECES
- Real-life couple Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) will guest star in the second season premiere of the hit comedy. Mullally will play Mary-Lynn, Clementine's (Hunter King) free-spirited and very open minded mother. Her husband left her soon after Clementine was born. Offerman will play Spencer, Mary-Lynn's brother who stepped in to help raise Clementine. Mary-Lynn and Spencer are very supportive and caring parents, but their relationship with each other is a little too close for comfort.
FOX's SLEEPY HOLLOW
- Jerry MacKinnon (Empire), Rachel Melvin (Days of Our Lives) and Oona Yaffe (MasterChef Junior) have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming fourth season. MacKinnon will play Jake Wells, an endearingly eager but slightly obsessive research analyst who works in a forgotten federal archive cataloguing reports of supernatural activity. Melvin will play Alex Norwood, a self-taught engineering prodigy who works alongside Jake. She has the ability to break down the most complex problems to its simplest components, a talent that gives her the ability to improvise weapons and gadgets when needed. Yaffe will play Molly, Diana's (Janina Gavankar) bright and poised 10-year-old daughter.
SYFY's THE MAGICIANS
- Rizwan Manji (Outsourced, Schitt's Creek) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Tick Pickwick, a royal advisor in Fillory.
AUDIENCE's ICE
- Raymond J. Barry (Justified, The 100) will co-star on the upcoming drama from Antoine Fuqua. He will play Isaac, the father of half-siblings Jake (Cam Gigandet) and Freddy (Jeremy Sisto).
