FREEFORM's ISSUES
- Faking It star Katie Stevens has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot written by Sarah Watson. Also joining the cast today are Aisha Dee (Chasing Life), Meghann Fahy (One Life to Live) and Matt Ward (Remedy). Stevens will play Jane, who has just been promoted to her dream job as a writer for Scarlet Magazine. Equal parts passion and determination, she is sometimes a little overwhelmed by life in New York City. Dee will play Kat, also recently promoted at Scarlet to social media director. She is bold, fearless and not intimidated by anyone. Fahy will play Sutton, the last of her friends to be an assistant at Scarlet. She is humble and dependable but her workload comes at two speeds - crushing or overwhelming. Ward will play Alex, a fellow writer who is smitten with Jane and joined the magazine as a last resort after losing his dream job.
