SHOWTIME's HOMELAND
  • Nurse Jackie alum Dominic Fumusa has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming sixth season. He will play FBI Special Agent Ray Conlin. No additional details about the character - including how many episodes he'll appear in - were immediately released.
NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
  • The late-night sketch comedy series has announced that Mikey Day, Alex Moffat and Melissa Villasenor have joined the cast as featured players for the upcoming 42nd season. They will make their on-screen debuts in the October 1 premiere.
FX's FEUD
  • Jackie Hoffman (Hairspray, On the Town) has joined the cast of the upcoming anthology series starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon. She will play Mamasita, Joan Crawford's (Lange) housekeeper. Additionally, Tim Minear (American Horror Story) has boarded the series as co-showrunner alongside creator Ryan Murphy.
NETFLIX's THE PUNISHER
  • Ben Barnes (Westworld, Sons of Liberty) has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Jon Bernthal. Netflix has yet to confirm the casting or who he'll be playing. And yet, the rumors seem to suggest he'll play Bobby Saint, the first season's antagonist, a corrupt crime prodigy.
CBS' NCIS: LOS ANGELES
  • The broadcast network is moving up the premiere date for the drama's eighth season and expanding it to two hours. The new season will now begin on Sunday, September 25 at 8:30/7:30c. The move happens after the network has trimmed its new true-crime limited series Case Closed, which focuses on the JonBenet Ramsey murder, from six hours to four. 
AMAZON's SNEAKY PETE
  • Brad William Henke (Orange Is the New Black, Justified) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Giovanni Ribisi. He will play Brendon, a smart, beefy and imposing suburban dad who owns his own construction company.
SHOWTIME's I'M DYING UP HERE
  • Richard Kind (Spin City, Red Oaks) has booked a recurring role on the hourlong comedy starring Melissa Leo. He will play Marty Edelman, a high-powered television executive who Goldie (Leo) turns to with a big idea.
FOX's SCREAM QUEENS
  • Emmy winner Kirstie Alley (Cheers, Kirstie) has joined the second season of the hit comedy-horror series as a series regular. She will play a brilliant and devious administrator at the hospital.
HULU's THE MINDY PROJECT
  • Jack Davenport (Smash) will appear in an upcoming episode of the comedy's fifth season. He will play Leland Breakfast, an English stage actor known as the "bad boy of the West End." He comes to New York City to star in a one-man show and ends up taking an interest in Mindy (Mindy Kaling).
NETFLIX's ALTERED CARBON
  • Marlene Forte (Fear the Walking Dead) and Trieu Tran (The Newsroom) have been cast on the upcoming drama starring Joel Kinnaman. Forte will play Alazne Ortega, the soul of the Ortega family who refuses to allow her humanity to be subsumed in this high-tech world. She's a proud Catholic, her faith her shield, despite the loss of her husband and the risks her daughter Lt. Kristin Ortega (Martha Higareda) takes while following in his footsteps. Tran will play Mister Leung, a violent killer and fixer who finds employment among the ultra-rich Meths of the Altered Carbon world. He solves their convoluted problems, removes their most potent enemies, and never, ever leaves behind evidence of his crimes.
