SUNDANCETV's HAP AND LEONARD
- Brian Dennehy, Irma P. Hall, Dohn Norwood, Tiffany Mack and Cranston Johnson have been cast on the drama's upcoming second season. Dennehy will play Valentine Otis, a sheriff and all-around boss-hob in Marvel Creek. Hall will play MeMaw, the neighborhood matriarch and a confidant to Hap (James Purefoy) and Leonard (Michael Kenneth Williams). Norwood will play Reverend Fitzgerald, a charismatic preacher and MeMaw's grandson. Mack will play Florida Grange, Leonard's lawyer and the object of Hap's deep admiration. Johnson will play Detective Hansen, who finds Hap and Leonard in the way of his murder investigation at every turn.
THE CW's FREQUENCY
- Mistresses alum Rob Mayes has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Peyton List and Riley Smith. He will play Detective Kyle Mosbey, a charmingly cocky detective and Raimy's (List) equal and surprise love interest. He challenges Raimy's idea of the perfect guy for her. He understands that life on the job can leave little room for a conventional relationship, but neither can deny their connection.
THE CW's SUPERNATURAL
- Kara Royster (Pretty Little Liars) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's twelfth season. She will play Alicia, a fellow hunter who crosses paths with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). Raised by a witch, Alicia and her brother Max now hunt the things that go bump in the night.
FOX's BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
- Eric Roberts (Runaway Train) will play Jimmy "The Butcher" Figgis on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. Figgis has been the oft-mentioned yet unseen murderous mafia bass who Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) have been trying to take down. They destroyed most of his criminal enterprise in the Season 3 finale but that had to flee into witness protection in Florida after Figgis phoned in a death threat. Roberts will make a voice cameo in the second episode of the season. And then, he'll physically appear in the third episode.
WGN AMERICA's UNDERGROUND
- Sadie Stratton (The Wish List, Bedazzled) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Patty Cannon, the leader of the infamous Cannon-Johnson gang who would kidnap free blacks and fugitive slaves to sell them into slavery in the South. She is suspected of having committed up to a dozen murders.
NBC's CHICAGO MED
- Tony winner Betty Buckley (Oz, Cats) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. She will play Olga Barlow, an elderly patient whose desire to keep up with appearances has an adverse effect on her health.
AMC's THE TERROR
- Outlander and The Night Manager star Tobias Menzies will play a lead role on the upcoming anthology series from David Kajganich. He will play member of the Royal Navy crew on an expedition searching for the Northwest Passage in 1847. The season focuses on a mysterious predator that stalks the ship and the crew in a suspenseful and desperate game of survival.
