ABC's SCANDAL
- The hit drama will return for its sixth season on Thursday, January 19 at 9/8c., it was announced today in a new promo. That night will mark the official return of TGIT on ABC with Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder also returning from their winter hiatuses at 8/7c. and 10/9c., respectively. The new season of Scandal stars Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry, Bellamy Young, Joshua Molina, Scott Foley, Portia de Rossi and Cornelius Smith Jr.
AMC's LODGE 49
- Wyatt Russell (Black Mirror, 22 Jump Street) will star in the upcoming drama created by Jim Gavin and Peter Ocko. He will play Sean "Dud" Dudley, a deadbeat but charming ex-surfer who joins a fraternal order hoping to reclaim the simple, happy lifestyle he lost when his father died. Through the Lodge and his newfound connection with the other members, Dud will come to find the missing sense of purpose in his life and confront his deepest fears and greatest hopes.
USA's SUITS
- The next six episodes of the hit drama's sixth season will begin airing on Wednesday, January 25. The new episodes pick up immediately after the midseason cliffhanger that left the firm in the hands of Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis (Rick Hoffman).
VH1's DAYTIME DIVAS
- Norm Lewis, Eve, Kelly Osbourne, Tasha Smith, La La Anthony, Debby Ryan, Janet Mock, Scott Evans, Kristen Johnston, Patti LaBelle and Rob Estes will appear on the upcoming drama starring Vanessa Williams. Lewis will play William, a handsome doorman who hold one of the ladies' darkest secrets. Eve will play Cecile James, an author of a book about alpha women who comes on The Lunch Hour as a guest host hoping to make her stint permanent. Osbourne will play herself while promoting a book on The Lunch Hour. Smith will play Portia Camden, a popular lifestyle guru who joins as a guest co-host. Anthony will play Isabel Carlisle, a crisis management expert brought in by Maxine (Williams) to handle a situation that has gone public with one of the hosts. Ryan will play Maddie Finn, a former co-star and rival of Kibby's (Chloe Bridges). Mock will play herself as a guest co-host who connects with one of the other hosts. Evans will play Julian, a celebrity sober coach helping to keep one of the ladies on track. Johnston will play Anna, the formerly frumpy assistant to Maxine who returns to New York as a chic and hard-hitting journalist. LaBelle will play Gloria, the sharp-tongued, fabulous and prying mother of William who claims to know her son better than anyone. Estes will play Vance Gordon, a former co-star of Kibby's who re-enters her life as a guest on The Lunch Hour.
NETFLIX's ATYPICAL
- Nik Dodani (Kevin From Work, The Comeback) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Jennifer Jason Leigh. He will play Zahid, Sam's (Keir Gilchrist) co-worker at the electronics store.
COMEDY CENTRAL's WORKAHOLICS
- The upcoming seventh season of the hit comedy series will be its final one, it was announced today by Comedy Central. The comedy stars Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine and Anders Holm. The final season is in production now for a premiere in 2017.
AMAZON's JACK RYAN
- Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch, Klondike) will play the female lead on the upcoming drama series starring John Krasinski. She will play Cathy Mueller, a doctor specializing in infectious diseases. She is intelligent, competitive and a rising star in the medical world, an Jack's (Krasinski) love interest.
FX's FEUD
- Kathy Bates (American Horror Story) is re-teaming with Ryan Murphy on his upcoming anthology series starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon. She will recur as Joan Blondell, an Oscar-nominated actress and Bette Davis' (Sarandon) close friend.
