FOX's Thin Ice and TV Land's Heathers.
FOX's THIN ICE
- The broadcast network has ordered a pilot for single-camera comedy Thin Ice created by New Girl's Liz Meriwether. She will write the pilot with Ed Macdonald, Mark Grimmer and Katherine Pope. Meriwether and Pope will executive produce while Macdonald and Grimmer are co-executive producers. 20th Century Fox Television will produce. The project centers on a woman who reclaims her dreams when she finds herself at the end of the earth - in Antarctica - surrounded by a group of brilliant misfits.
TV LAND's HEATHERS
- Shannen Doherty - who starred in the original film as Heather Duke - will appear in the comedy pilot adaptation. Doherty revealed her casting today on Instagram. TV Land also confirmed that she'll appear in the pilot as a "pivotal, unnamed character."
