NETFLIX's SEVEN SECONDS
- Emmy winner Regina King (American Crime, The Leftovers) will star in the upcoming drama from Veena Sud. Also cast on the series today are Michael Mosley (Sirens) and Patrick Murney (Public Morals). King will play Latrice Butler, a devout churchgoer and a proud wife and mother. After her family moves out of the projects and become first-time home owners, she is shaken to her core when she learns her 15-year-old son has been in an incident. She is rocked by the power of her anger at her son's predicament, an anger that will change her life, her relationship with her husband and more. Mosley will play Joe "Fish" Rinaldi, a seasoned New Jersey detective assigned to work with prosecutor KJ Harper. Murney will play Gary Wilcox, a cop working with Diangelo (David Lyons), Osorio (Raúl Castillo) and newcomer Peter Jablonski (Beau Knapp) on the narcotics squad in Jersey City.
STARZ's COUNTERPART
- Ulrich Thomsen (Banshee, The Blacklist) has been tapped to replace Michael Nyqvist on the upcoming drama starring J.K. Simmons. He will play Aldrich, the hardened Director of Counterintelligence at Howard's (Simmons) agency and a strange mix of philosopher and spy. Nyqvist had to depart the cast due to scheduling conflicts.
FX's THE STRAIN
- K.C. Collins (Lost Girl, Saving Hope) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth and final season. He will play Roman, who helps the main characters in their fight for survival after the destruction of the city.
FREEFORM's THE FOSTERS
- Kara Royster (Pretty Little Liars, Faking It) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Dawn, a flirtatious student who causes some jealousy between Callie (Maia Mitchell) and AJ (Tom Williamson).
DISCOVERY's MANIFESTO
- Avatar star Sam Worthington will star opposite Paul Bettany on the upcoming drama series. He will play FBI Agent Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald, one of the most decorated profilers in the history of the bureau whose radical approach to intelligence gathering ultimately took Ted Kaczynski (Bettany) down.
