FX's MAYANS MC
- FX and Kurt Sutter are really moving forward with a spinoff of hit drama Sons of Anarchy. The cable network has announced a pilot order for the project, titled Mayans MC. Sutter and Elgin James wrote the pilot. Sutter is also set to direct and executive produce. James will serve as co-executive producer. FX Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios will produce. The project is set in a post-Jax Teller world, where EZ Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali/Mexi border, struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel, and his need for respect from the women he loves. Production on the pilot is set to begin in March 2017.
