TNT Sets Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'Animal Kingdom'

TNT has set the premiere date for the second season of its original drama series Animal Kingdom, it was announced today. Season 2 will feature 13 episodes, up from the 10 episodes of the first season.






The 13-episode second season of Animal Kingdom will debut on Tuesday, May 30 at 9/8c. 

As the second season opens, the Cody clan is back to their old ways and in the midst of a fun, high-adrenaline heist. But when things don't go as planned, the family dynamics become more fractured than ever as some members advocate for independence from Smurf. Adding fuel to the fire is an external threat from Smurf's past that has come back to haunt her.

The drama stars Ellen Barkin, Scott Speedman, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary, Finn Cole, Molly Gordon and Carolina Guerra.

Jonathan Lisco developed the series inspired by the award-winning film of the same name. He executive produces with John Wells, Christopher Chulack, David Michôd, Liz Watts and Etan Frankel. Megan Martin is a co-executive producer. Warner Horizon Television and John Wells Productions produce.
