SYFY's THE MAGICIANS
- Oscar winner Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God, Switched at Birth) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. She will play Harriet, the woman in charge of a website called "Fuzzbeat" that deals in news as well as Top 10 lists and cat videos. Penny (Arjun Gupta) and Kady (Jade Tailor) run into her in their search for an important library book. They quickly learn that Harriet's website might be hiding more than they originally thought.
ABC's TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY
- Ali Liebert (Bomb Girls) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Kyra Sedgwick. She will play Nickole Bilson, a blue collar, plain-spoken, tough and experienced detective who is assisting on the Sadler-Greene case.
VICELAND's WHAT WOULD DIPLO DO?
- Dora Madison (Chicago Fire) and DJ Dillion Francis will co-star on the upcoming comedy created by and starring James Van Der Beek. Madison will play Karen, Diplo's (Van Der Beek) assistant. Francis will play a character named Randy. Additionally, comedians Jamar Malachi Neighbors and Bobby Lee have been cast on the series but no details were released about the roles they'll be playing.
NETFLIX's THE CROWN
- Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Jodi Balfour (Quarry) have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Hall will play President John F. Kennedy, a natural leader and excellent public speaker who does not take kindly to being upstaged by anyone, especially his wife. Although Jackie's accomplishments are perceived to be an asset to the president, JFK feels unmanned by his wife's popularity. In public, he seeks revenge by flaunting his many infidelities and, behind closed doors, his jealousy surfaces in the form of anger and manipulation. Balfour will play Jackie Kennedy, a seemingly natural First Lady but whose charming exterior of confidence and glamour hides a shy woman who loathes public life.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
- Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue) and Jordan Bridges (Rizzoli & Isles) will guest star in an upcoming episode of the drama's 18th season. Peregrym will play a top-tier investment banker who accuses her billionaire client (guest star Tate Donovan) of rape. Bridges will play the supervisor of Peregrym's character.
