THE CW's VALOR
- Matt Barr (Sleepy Hollow, Hellcats) has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot written by Kyle Jarrow. He will play Gallo, a scruffy aging hipster meets flyboy. He's Nora's co-pilot and commanding officer and is just as expert as she is though more experienced. After a botched mission in Somalia leaves a pair of American servicemen in enemy hands, Nora and Gallo train for a rescue operation and only they share a very large secret from the initial operation - a secret that must never come to the attention of the Army.
WGN AMERICA's SCALPED
- Alex Meraz (Suicide Squad, Animal Kindgom) is set as one of the leads on the drama pilot written by Doug Jung. He will play Dashiell Bad Horse, who was exiled from the Rez by his mother at age 13 and returns home after 15 years as a criminal with a mysterious agenda. His return sets him on a violent path of self-discovery about his place on the Rez and on a collision course with both his estranged mother and Chief Lincoln Red Crow.
ABC's UNTITLED PAUL WILLIAM DAVIES PROJECT
- Britne Oldford (Hunters), Ben Rappaport (Mr. Robot) and Anna Deavere Smith (Nurse Jackie) have joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Paul William Davies. Oldford will play Sandra, a sensible, fiercely intelligent and independent new public defender who was driven to the law because of an injustice perpetrated on her family when she was a child. Rappaport will play Seth, a smart and reasonable but inexperienced recent law school grad about to start his career as a prosecutor. Smith will play Tina Krissman, the tough, intimidating and no-nonsense SDNY court clerk.
NBC's UNTITLED CHARLIE GRANDY & MINDY KALING PROJECT
- Workaholics star Anders Holm and Andy Favreau (The Mick) will play the lead roles on the comedy pilot written by Charlie Grandy and Mindy Kaling. The project centers on Vince (Holm), a charismatic gym owner with no ambition who lives with his younger brother Michael (Favreau), a gorgeous idiot. Their simple life of women and working out is put on hold when the teenage son of Vince is dropped off on their doorstep by Priya (Kaling), one of his old high school flings.
NBC's THE SACKETT SISTERS
- Cougar Town alum Busy Philipps has booked one of the lead roles on the comedy pilot written by Luke Del Tredici. She will play Mandy, who is the Sackett family's living embodiment of the family's failure. She's been married three times and arrested six and has never held a job for more than a week. She's brash and cocky but deep down knows she's a screw up, like all the other Sacketts. Her son Mickey, whom she had when she was 20, is the only thing she hasn't ruined. Unprepared for motherhood, she will go to the ends of the earth to protect her kid.
ABC's THE TRUSTEE
- The Walking Dead alum Michael Cudlitz will co-star on the hourlong comedic pilot starring Meaghan Rath. He will play Timothy Waits, a wry and sardonic police captain who has learned to appreciate Eliza Radley's (Rath) unorthodox policing methods.
ABC's DOOMSDAY
- Jack Davenport (Smash, Pirates of the Caribbean) has been cast on the drama pilot written by Mark Bianculli and VJ Boyd. He will play Warren, a well-known intellectual playwright turned middle-brow action screenwriter. Also part of the former Doomsday Project think tank. Imaginative and creative, he sees the world like a story which helps him think like (and even empathize with) the enemy. He may act like saving the world with Homeland Security is an inconvenient distraction, but at the end of the day is a serious ally with some incredibly useful ideas.
THE CW's LIFE SENTENCE
- Jayson Blair (Young & Hungry, The New Normal) has landed a series regular role on the hourlong comedy pilot starring Lucy Hale. He will play Aiden, Stella's (Hale) brother and the slighted middle child. He is super-charming, though emotionally immature, a womanizer who still lives at home with his parents and sells Adderall to soccer moms who he often ends up sleeping with.
ABC's LAS REINAS
- Sonia Braga (The Burning Season, Kiss of the Spider Woman) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Dean Georgaris. Additionally, Chris Brancato (Narcos) has signed on as showrunner and Liz Friedlander (Conviction) will direct. Braga will play Gabriella De La Reina, the head of one of the most powerful crime syndicates in the world. After her husband was killed, she took over their small criminal enterprise and turned it into a multi-national, multi-million dollar behemoth of illegal and legal interests. She has it all - except the one thing she wants more than anything: to bring her estranged granddaughter Sonya back into the fold.
CBS' HANNAH ROYCE'S QUESTIONABLE CHOICES
- James Earl (Scream Queens, Ground Floor) has been cast on the comedy pilot written by Matt Tarses. He will play J.L., the well-meaning, disorganized father of Hannah's son, Jamie.
ABC's UNIT ZERO
- Kimberly Hébert Gregory (Vice Principals) has booked a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Toni Collette. She will play Brie, the motorcycle-riding best friend to Jackie (Collette) and a fellow CIA agent.
ABC's UNTITLED MARC CHERRY PROJECT
- Saidah Ekulona (Impastor, Bull) will co-star on the drama pilot starring Reba McEntire. She will play Velma Winemiller, a church lady who runs the local bed and breakfast with her sister, Inez.
CBS' INSTINCT
- The drama pilot starring Alan Cumming has cast Bojana Novakovic (Shameless, Rake) as its female lead. She will play Lizzie, a top detective with the NYPD who approaches Dylan (Cumming) to help with a case.
ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR
- Antonia Thomas (Misfits, Love Dick) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by David Shore. She will play Claire Browne, a strong willed, caring and talented doctor who forms a special connection with Shaun while wrestling her own challenges.
