This afternoon, HBO has confirmed a premiere date for the sixth season of its original comedy series Veep starring Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The 10-episode sixth season will debut on Sunday, April 16 at 10:30/9:30c. The comedy is currently the two-time reigning champion for Best Comedy Series at the Emmys.
The comedy stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, Timothy Simons, Sufe Bradshaw, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole and Sam Richardson.
Executive producers for the sixth season include Dave Mandel, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Frank Rich, Lew Morton and Morgan Sackett.
