ABC's Unit Zero, Untitled Jeremy Bronson & Untitled Phirman/Schneider; CBS' Brothered Up, The Get, Untitled Paul Attanasio & Untitled Ben Cavell; The CW's Black Lightning & Searchers; FOX's Amy's Brother, Gifted & Untitled Sheldon Turner; NBC's Drama High, Untitled Mike O'Brien & What About Barb?; and WGN America's Scalped.


FOX's AMY'S BROTHER
  • Michael Urie (Ugly Betty), Ursula Parker (Louie), Sloane Morgan Siegel (Gortimer Gibbons) and Miguel Pinzon (Mystery Girls) have been cast on the comedy pilot starring Annie Mumolo. Urie will play Matthew, Amy's (Mumolo) brother, a gay, controlled, super-organized and reasonably successful realtor who lives alone in an immaculate house and thinks several moves ahead at all times. Parker will play Abby, Amy's daughter, a quiet pre-teen girl who has trouble connecting with people, except maybe her uncle. Siegel will play Zach, Amy's teenage son. Pinzon will play Josh, Matthew's extremely devoted assistant at the real estate office.
NBC's UNTITLED MIKE O'BRIEN PROJECT
  • Nick Peine (Office Christmas Party) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Glenn Howerton. He will play Marcus, a smart kid but not as into college and careers as the others. He's a bit of a salesman and just likes to be the one driving; he's ultimately willing to abandon any stance he has in order to be liked and in control.
CBS' THE GET
  • The Night Shift alum Jeananne Goossen and newcomer Alex Fitzalan will co-star on the drama pilot written by Bridget Carpenter. Goossen will play Isa, the senior producer at The Get and a tech-savvy researcher. Fizalan will play Alex, a quiet and highly observant young intern at The Get.
NBC's DRAMA HIGH
  • Shirley Rumierk, Joe Tippett, Ted Sutherland and Taylor Richardson have landed series regular roles on the drama pilot starring Josh Radnor. Rumierk will play Vanessa Suarez, a hard working, no-nonsense complex single mother and waitress who wants the best for her daughter Lilette (Auli'i Cravalho) even though at times her own behavior doesn't live up to the standards she wishes she had for herself. Tippett will play Coach Doug Strickland, the high school's football coach and Gwen's (Amy Forsyth) father. Sutherland will play Simon Saunders, the theatre's leading man. Richardson will play Kaitlin Mazzuchelli, Lou (Radnor) and Gail's eldest daughter and a huge fan of theater and musicals.
FOX's UNTITLED SHELDON TURNER PROJECT
  • Saycon Sengbloh (Scandal) and Griffin Freeman (Paper Towns) have booked series regular roles on the drama pilot starring Archie Panjabi. Sengbloh will play Ava, a cop who worked her way up to being a detective. She is now investigating several football players accused of assault. Freeman will play Tommy, the star quarterback of the university's football team.
WGN AMERICA's SCALPED
  • Gil Birmingham, Irene Bedard and Chaske Spencer are set for lead roles on the drama pilot written by Doug Jung. Birmingham will play Chief Lincoln Red Crow, the controversial Chief of the Prairie Rose Reservation. Formerly an idealistic activist, he orchestrates the opening of the casino on the "Rez," believing it to be the key to his tribe's future and redemption for his own dark past. But the casino proves to be a Pandora's Box, with Red Crow struggling to keep it the Rez's salvation and not its demise. Bedard will play Gina Bad Horse, a legendary activist and the public face of opposition to Red Crow and his casino. Her efforts and ways of helping her people stand in stark opposition to Red Crow, despite their intimate and secretive past together. In the face of Red Crow's success with the casino, Gina begins to realize that defeating him requires adopting his dark tactics. Spencer will play Sheriff Falls Down, the local sheriff with a deep investment in the Rez and its people, his wry easy manner obscures an edge and keen intelligence. There is no love lost between Sheriff Falls Down and Chief Red Crow - but there is a mutual respect.
ABC's UNIT ZERO
  • Peter Cambor (NCIS: Los Angeles, Suits) is set as a series regular on the comedic drama pilot starring Toni Collette. He will play Gabe, a handsome, affable and struggling musician. He is the father of Jackie's (Collette) newborn daughter, conceived via a one-night stand.
ABC's UNTITLED DANNAH PHIRMAN & DANIELLE SCHNEIDER PROJECT
  • Murder in the First alum Lombardo Boyar has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Rob Riggle. He will play Elias, a friendly yet macho tenant who also serves as the building's handyman.
ABC's UNTITLED JEREMY BRONSON PROJECT
  • Bernard Jones (Meet the Browns, Single Ladies) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Brandon Michael Hall and Lea Michele. He will play Jermaine, Courtney's (Hall) high-energy, fast-talking best friend who occasionally raps and becomes City Hall's lead aide.
NBC's WHAT ABOUT BARB?
  • Ben Lawson (Neighbours) and Eddie Shin (The Man in the High Castle) have joined the comedy pilot starring Leah Remini and Jessica Gunning. Lawson will play Ryan, Suzanne's (Remini) fiancé, a former Ohio State linebacker who maintains manliness while basically doing the duties of a housewife. A super nice guy, he is a bit of a mimbo - not the academic type Suzanne has dated in the past. Shin will play Nick, Suzanne's half-brother, who's charming with an unwarranted sense of confidence that's not backed up by much achievement. He's educated, but lacks follow-through and motivation.
CBS' UNTITLED BEN CAVELL PROJECT
  • Toni Trucks (Hostages, Franklin & Bash) has landed a series regular role on the drama pilot written by Ben Cavell. She will play Diaz, the logistics officer responsible for making the arrangements to get the team and their gear where they need to be.
CBS' BROTHERED UP
  • Romany Malco (Weeds, Mad Dogs) will play the co-lead on the comedy pilot starring Adhir Kalyan. Nishi Munshi (The Originals) has also been cast today. Malco will play Calvin, a great African American cop who has always been a lone wolf, but now is newly partnered with the optimistic Farooq (Kalyan), who has a gung-ho attitude. Munshi will play Nosheen, the supportive wife of Farooq.
THE CW's SEARCHERS
  • Underground alum Marc Blucas has booked a series regular role on the drama pilot written by Jason Rothenberg. He will play Raff, the uncle of Cooper (Zane Holt) and Fable (Alex McGregor).
THE CW's BLACK LIGHTNING
  • Christine Adams (Feed the Beast, Terra Nova) is set as a series regular on the drama pilot starring Cress Williams. She will play Lynn, Jefferson's (Williams) ex-wife who exudes confidence and intelligence. Although she's got a mischievous side, she's not one to be trifled with when it comes to family.
CBS' UNTITLED PAUL ATTANASIO PROJECT
  • CBS has pushed back production on the drama pilot until the off-season. Issues with casting the lead roles is being cited as the reason for the delay. So far, the pilot has only cast David Castaneda and Roberto Aguire in supporting roles. Paul Attanasio (Bull) wrote the pilot, with Rodrigo Garcia set to direct.
