CBS' UNTITLED BEN CAVELL PROJECT
- Mad Men star Jessica Paré has been cast on the drama pilot starring Jim Caviezel. She will play Mandy, a whip-smart CIA analyst driven to rid the world of evil and get the bad guys.
FOX's TYPE-A
- Eva Longoria, Ken Marino, Kyle Bornheimer, Steve Harris and Andy Richter will star in the comedy pilot written by Lesley Wake Webster. Longoria will play Axler, the ambitious, brutally honest consultant who is at war with her inner "nice girl." Marino will play Garland, a slick, charming attorney - and total shark - who also happens to be Axler's ex-boyfriend. Bornheimer will play Ben, an Army vet with one leg who is the moral compass of the office. Harris will play Carson, the security chief with an intimidating physical presence but a soft spot for his show poodle. Richter will play Luderman, a master manipulator who makes Machiavelli look like a sweetheart.
CBS' UNTITLED JENNY LUMET PROJECT
- Sharon Leal (Supergirl) and Sheaun McKinney (Vice Principals) will play the lead roles on the drama pilot written by Jenny Lumet. Leal will play Lt. Naomi Barr, the passionate, relentless leader of the hate crimes task force in New York. McKinney will play Michael, the liaison between the mayor's office and the task force.
- Emmy winner John Larroquette (The Librarians) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Bobby Moynihan. Mandell Maughan has also been cast today. Larroquette will play Alex Riley as a 65-year-old. Newly retired, he has achieved the creative and financial success he always dreamed of. He's now committed to getting the most out of his life's third act. Maughan will play Maggie, young Alex's mom. Although she's a strong no-nonsense woman with a gruff bedside manner, her son is the center of her universe.
NBC's REDLINERS
- Jenny Wade (Wedding Band) has booked a regular role on the drama pilot starring Hannah Ware and Jared Haynes. She will play Christy, Anne's (Ware) sweet and overly officious assistant at school who talks too much, tries too hard and wants more than anything to have a rapport with Anne.
ABC's UNTITLED DANNAH PHIRMAN & DANIELLE SCHNEIDER PROJECT
- Amy Hill (UnREAL, Mom) is set as a series regular on the comedy pilot starring Rob Riggle. She will play Mrs. Kim, Josh's (Riggle) tough and honest neighbor.
FOX's THE BEAST
- The broadcast network has rolled production on the drama pilot to off-cycle, citing difficulties casting the lead role. The pilot written by Neil Baer and Dawn DeNoon has yet to cast a single actor. It is also the third pilot this season to be picked up and then rolled to off-cycle due to casting difficulties - and the second at FOX following The Passage.
ABC's THE GOSPEL OF KEVIN
- JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Reba, Once Upon a Time) has landed a regular role on the comedic drama pilot starring Jason Ritter and Cristela Alonzo. She will play Amy, who is recently widowed and happy to have her brother (Ritter) back in the family home.
ABC's LAS REINAS
- Witches of East End alum Eric Winter will co-star on the drama pilot starring Daniela Alonso. He will play Robert Ellison, a potential love interest for Alex (Alonso), an Ivy League educated attorney/consigliere who is central to Gabriella De La Reina's (Sonia Braga) empire.
NBC's UNTITLED WARREN LEIGHT PROJECT
- Tony winner Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon, BrainDead) has been cast on the drama pilot written by Warren Leight. She will play Meghan, a hospital administrator.
CBS' WISDOM OF THE CROWD
- Parenthood alum Monica Potter has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Jeremy Piven. She will play Alex, Tanner's (Piven) ex-wife who has been making wave in politics, being careful not to let her connection to Tanner impact her career.
FOX's UNTITLED SHELDON TURNER PROJECT
- Emmy winner Christine Lahti (Chicago Hope, The Good Wife) has been tapped to replace Rita Wilson on the drama pilot starring Archie Panjabi. The recast happened due to scheduling conflicts with Wilson. Lahti will play Constance Hawthorne, the dignified but fierce head of UCI Board of Trustees.
