ABC's Doomsday & Las Reinas; CBS' Hannah Royce's Questionable Choices, Living Biblically & Untitled Jenny Lumet; The CW's Black Lightning, Dynasty & Searchers; FOX's Untitled Matt Nix; and NBC's Good Girls & What About Barb?.



NBC's WHAT ABOUT BARB?
  • Leah Remini (The King of Queens) and Jessica Gunning (Fortitude) will play the lead roles on the comedy pilot written by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. The project centers on psychotherapist, Suzanne (Remini), who tries to cut ties with her most overbearing patient, Barb (Gunning), but is unsuccessful and gains an annoying family member in the process.
FOX's UNTITLED MATT NIX PROJECT
  • Person of Interest and Angel alum Amy Acker has been cast as the female lead on the drama pilot written by Matt Nix. Also cast today are Emma Dumont (Bunheads) and Percy Hynes White (Between). Acker will play Kate Stewart, a woman struggling with her separation from her husband Reed (Stephen Moyer) and her increasingly challenging teenage children. When her family situation takes a dark turn, she finds that she's stronger than she thinks. Dumont will play Lorna Dane aka Polaris, a strong-willed, brave and loyal mutant who has the ability to manipulate magnetism. White will play Andy, a sensitive kid and bit of a loner who keeps to himself to avoid the turmoil he faces at school and at home.
THE CW's DYNASTY
  • Melrose Place and Devious Maids alum Grant Show has joined the cast of the drama pilot remake of the hit 1980s primetime soap. He will play Blake Carrington, the billionaire patriarch of the Carrington family who is about to marry Cristal (Nathalie Kelley).
THE CW's BLACK LIGHTNING
  • Nafessa Williams (Code Black) and China Anne McClain (A.N.T. Farm) have landed lead roles on the drama pilot starring Cress Williams. Williams will play Anissa Pierce, Jefferson's (Williams), passionate and quick-witted 20-something daughter who balances the demands of medical school with her job teaching part-time at her father's school. McClain will play Jennifer Pierce, Jefferson's teenage daughter, an independent, outspoken scholar-athlete with a wild streak of her own.
ABC's LAS REINAS
  • Daniella Alonso (Animal Kingdom, Revolution) will play the lead role on the drama pilot written by Dean Georgaris. She will play Detective Sonya De La Reina, who is forced to confront her past when a case compels her to reconnect with her estranged family - the most powerful criminal outfit in Miami. Thrust back into the world she thought she had left behind, she must walk the murky line between the law and her family, and question her true destiny as a De La Reina.
CBS' HANNAH ROYCE'S QUESTIONABLE CHOICES
  • Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness, Black Mirror) has booked the title role on the comedy pilot written by Matt Tarses. She will play Hannah Royce, a pretty, smart and outspoken nurse who tends to leap before she looks. Even though she's a bit of a "train wreck," she's the glue that holds her messy family together and she's about to start making better choices.
ABC's DOOMSDAY
  • Claire Holt (The Originals, Aquarius) has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Taye Diggs. She will play Kayla, the newest member of the Doomsday project. Considered the best cyber security analyst in the country, she's efficient, irreverent, and not particularly interested in making friends.
THE CW's SEARCHERS
  • Colony star Jacob Buster will appear on the drama pilot written by Jason Rothenberg. He will play the 14-year-old version of Cooper (Zane Holtz). He's at a time in his life when he's simply not interested in his mother's fairytales.
CBS' LIVING BIBLICALLY
  • Ian Gomez (Cougar Town, Supergirl) will co-star on the comedy pilot written by Patrick Walsh. He will play Father Gene, a dryly funny priest at Chip's church who is impressed by Chip's determination. They form an unlikely friendship when he helps him translate the rules of the Bible to a modern world.
CBS' UNTITLED JENNY LUMET PROJECT
  • Grace Rex (Mindhunter, The Good Wife) is set as a series regular on the drama pilot written by Jenny Lumet. She will play Detective Sarah Jane Lipschitz, the smartest person in the room and a longstanding member of Naomi's team.
NBC's GOOD GIRLS
  • Friday Night Lights alum Zach Gilford will appear as a guest star on the drama pilot written by Jenna Bans - with an option to recur if ordered to series. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
