ABC's START UP
- Shark Tank venture capitalist Chris Sacca will appear as himself on the comedy pilot starring Zach Braff. The role will likely be recurring should ABC pick the pilot up to series.
USA's UNSOLVED
- Luke James (The New Edition Story), Aisha Hinds (Underground) and LeToya Luckett (Ballers) have been cast on the drama pilot written by Kyle Long. James will Sean "Puffy" Combs, the famous rapper and mogul who formed Bad Boy Records. Hinds will play Voletta Wallace, Biggie's mother who talked to her son every day before his death and has never stopped seeking justice for his unsolved murder. Luckett will play Sharitha Golden, the then-estranged wife of Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight and seemingly one of the only people at the time not intimidated by him.
CBS' UNTITLED BEN CAVELL PROJECT
- Bones star David Boreanaz has been tapped to replace Person of Interest star Jim Caviezel in the lead role on the drama pilot written by Ben Cavell. The recast has happened due to creative differences over the character. Boreanaz will play Jason, the respected and committed leader of his assault team who's been through over a dozen deployments, with scars inside and out.
ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR
- Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce star Beau Garrett has joined the drama pilot starring Freddie Highmore. She will play Jessica Preston, a hospital board member who is a friend of Dr. Glassman (Richard Schiff) and sides with him as he presents his protégé, Dr. Shaun Murphy (Highmore) to the board.
FOX's AMY'S BROTHER
- Sawyer Barth (Super Dark Times) will replace Sloane Morgan Siegel on the comedy pilot starring Annie Mumolo and Michael Urie. He will play Zach, Amy's (Mumolo) son and Abby's (Ursula Parker) brother. He's an entitled, popular 15-year-old who reacts badly to his perfect life being upended.
CBS' REAL LIFE
- Emmy winner Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock From the Sun, The Exes) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Rebecca Rittenhouse. She will play Beverly, the loud, confident and fabulous boss at the L.A. office.
CBS' ME, MYSELF & I
- Family Matters alum Jaleel White is set as a series regular on the comedy pilot starring Bobby Moynihan and John Larroquette. He will play Darryl, Alex's (Moynihan) best friend and business partner who offers guidance - and a cot in his garage - in the aftermath of Alex's divorce.
NBC's UNTITLED WARREN LEIGHT PROJECT
- JJ Feild (Turn) and Latarsha Rose (The Hunger Games) have booked regular roles on the drama pilot starring Rachel Griffiths. Feild will play Dr. Peter Riley, a love interest for Kim (Griffiths). Rose will play Audra, a frontline nurse with an attitude.
NBC's REDLINERS
- Rodney To (Parks and Recreation) has landed a regular role on the drama pilot starring Hannah Ware and Jerod Haynes. He will play Budd Nii, the earnest, sheltered and eternally positive square Assistant Dean to Anne (Ware).
ABC's THE TRUSTEE
- Berto Colon (Orange Is the New Black) has been cast on the comedic drama pilot starring Meaghan Rath and Laverne Cox. He will play Detective Martinez. Muscle-bound, arrogant and not too bright, he clashes with Detective Radley (Rath).
ABC's CHARLIE FOXTROT
- Robert Baker (Grey's Anatomy, Justified) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Jason Biggs. He will play Officer O'Brien, Charlie's (Biggs) nemesis who works on the base.
