HBO has renewed its original comedy series Crashing created by and starring Pete Holmes for a second season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming.
Drawing on Holmes' own experiences as a comedian, the first season also features Lauren Lapkus, George Basil, Dave Attell, Hannibal Burress, Artie Lange, T.J. Miller, Jim Norton, Rachael Ray and Sarah Silverman.
Holmes and Judd Apatow serve as executive producers. Judah Miller is a co-executive produce. Oren Brimer, Josh Church, Igor Srubshchik and Dave Rath are producers.
"Pete and Judd have proven to be the ultimate ambassadors for the standup comedy world," noted Gravitt. "I'm delighted by the response to the show and am thrilled to welcome them back for a second season."
